This exhibition was a series of immersive experiences. I left the spaces feeling completely mesmerised. The exhibition played on the viewers perception of space and time through moving instalations or through sound.
 Other Spaces features three large installations:

Our Time

The Music composed by Mira Calix

This installation features kinetic structures swinging in and out of phase, all whilst projecting light and sound. This occurs in a long dark hall creating an almost hypnotic experience that completely changed my perception of time and how big the space. The pendulums swung each to their own rhythm. 

 I really liked this piece as it it felt like I was in completely different place, somewhere completely alien. The lights in this foggy room created a strobe of light that looked like a solid layer that kept moving.

Vanishing Point

 This was a laser installation that focuses on using perspective in order to redefine space. It consists of beaming laser lights in to a space of an invisible vanishing point. It was a piece that was inspired by Renaissance drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci, Leon Battista Alberti and Albrecht Dürer. 

The Great Animal Orchestra

This is a soundscape of animal recordings that were captured in their natural habitats. Musician Bernie Krause had been recording animals for over 45 years. He had over 5,000 hours worth of recordings for over 15,000 species of animals.
